Nutrition and Dietetics Department, SCHOOL OF ALLIED HEALTH SCIENCE (SAHS) in collaboration with IDA Delhi Chapter and NetProFaN is organizing a NUTRITION EVENT from 28th – 30th September 2020 on the occasion of Poshan Maah (National Nutrition Month 2020) through online platform (Google meet).

National Nutrition week is celebrated every year in the month of September to aware people about the importance of nutrition for human body and well being of health. People should include a healthy diet to promote growth and better immune system.  With the advancement of food technology and latest practices, human being should also wisely choose the good fortified foods available in market.

She also owns a home-grown label where she up-cycles & uses factory waste to manufacture bags and accessories. Department of Computer Science & Engineering is going to publish a souvenir named as “सातत्य“ to
commemorate “हिंदी दिवस”. The Constituent Assembly of India had espoused Hindi as India’s official
language on 14th September,1949. To show its significance and to celebrate its mark of
acknowledgement, we commemorate “Hindi Diwas” on September 14th every year. Hindi is one of the
two languages of the Union Government which is written in Devanagri script and other language is
English. It is one of the 22 languages of the Republic of India.

Objectives of the event:

  • To promote and encourage the use of Hindi Language.
  • To mark the importance of Hindi Language, one of the oldest languages.
  • To pay tribute to Beohar Rajendra Simha, Hazari Prasad Dwivedi, Kaka Kalelkar, Maithili

To strengthen the technical skills of the students, Department of CSE, School of Engineering & Technology (SET) has taken an initiative to train and prepare the student for GATE Examination on every Saturday’s(including non-working).

Through GATE students will get a chance in PSU’s as well as pursuing a higher degree from the renowned institution of India (IIT’s, NIT’s etc).

Apart from it the students who levy to work in product based companies, it will help them in their technical interviews.

Schools have been shut to prevent the spread of the virus and this has given way to online classrooms, a very new concept in India even for the most sophisticated schools.

The differences between online learning and traditional learning can be found by analyzing how technology and the internet have transformed the traditional learning method.
