THEME: – Let’s Experience the Organs

About the workshop: 

Anatomy and Physiology is one of the main courses for nursing students in order to become licensed nurses in their state during their studying period that outlines the structure and function of the body which is mandatory for anyone who plans to work in the field of health care delivery to meet the needs of the patients.

Nurses need Anatomy and Physiology to understand how to care for their patient. The body must remain in a balanced state to operate. When the body does not maintain balance, nurses must figure out how to restore the body’s equilibrium to help the patient. Nurses must be able to think and act quickly when a patient needs care.

Objectives of the workshop: 

  • To assess the existing knowledge regarding the structure and functions of the body organs through a pre-test.
  • To improve teaching skills among students.
  • To enhance the knowledge among the students by cross over teaching strategy and active participative learning.
  • To evaluate the effectiveness of crossover teaching strategies of Anatomy and Physiology through post-test.

On the 21st of January, the School Of Humanities and Social Sciences is organizing student Academics National Seminar “Unmasking Silence Voices Heard and Unheard” for the students to explore different intellectual arguments related with silence and unmasking it.

Objectives of the Event:

We seek to attempt an exploration within individuals as well as a society for the acceptance of the articulate voices which haven’t been the part of mainstream discourse of disciplines of humanities and social sciences such as literature, history, psychology, sociology, and political science.

We also hope to achieve a better understanding of the reasons, victims, perpetrators, and methodology behind the masking of the silence that has now prevailed for a sizeable amount of time.

It is a day to remember when India’s constitution came into force on January 26, 1950, completing the country’s transition toward becoming an independent republic.
