Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering is organizing a 30-hours workshop on “Introduction to Mobile Robots” from Aug 05, 2019 under Robo_TREEE, technical club of EEE dept. students. The course has been broken into slots and after completing the slots, students will be able to develop mobile robots for real life and entertainment applications. On last day, Obstacle Avoider Robot Competition will be conducted.

Objective:

The objective of the workshop is to impart practical knowledge and to give hand on practice. It is intended for the beginners.

Requirement:

Student group has to bring the Mobile Robot Components and a laptop. Maximum 3 students can be formed as one group. (List of components is available with coordinator)

Registration fee: Rs. 200/ student (Two hundred rupees per student)

Venue and Timing:

The venue for the same is Embedded Systems and Robotics Laboratory of Advanced Instrumentation & Automation Laboratory, Room no. 221, SET Block I. Maximum 3 slots will be conducted in a week and minimum 1 in a week.

Course period: From 5th  Aug, 2019 to 30th Sep, 2019

Days of Workshop in a week: Monday#, Tuesday# and Saturday*

Timings: 4 to 6 PM

Course duration: 30 hours

Department of Computer Science and Engineering is Organizing 05 Days Workshop on Ethical Hacking and Cyber Security Training from 13th – 18th August 2019.

The major objectives of the workshop are:

  1. Development of unique and innovative training modules in Indian languages specific to Indigenous needs.
  2. Capacity building in Cyber Crime Investigation and enhancing the knowledge base of officials
  3. Foster collaboration and serve as a conduit for government agencies, private sectors and academic institutions to share ideas and enable advance research.
  4. Creating awareness on Cyber Crime, Cyber Fraud, Corporate Fraud, Hacking etc.
  5. Skill building in Cyber Security, Cyber Forensics, Threat Intelligence and Fraud & Risk Management, etc.

Educational trip to Lucknow for B.Arch. 3rd year students |SAP| 14th-18th Aug, 2019 @ Lucknow

A group of students of B.Arch III year are undertaking ‘Residency’ as their project for Measure drawing exercise. As per the project requirement, students will be studying and documenting the colonial building of the City-Lucknow.

The visit to Lucknow is proposed to familiarize them with the cultural heritage of lucknow. The objective of the excursion is to give students exposure of rich cultural heritage of nawabi and colonial era. The students will learn to observe the place architecturally, socially and culturally. They will able to identify and critically evaluate culture of nawab which is very well imbibed in the entire region. The site visit will help the students to apply the understanding of the tangible and intangible heritage in the design.

There is also one more on-going educational trip to Orchha for 2nd year students.

School of Education is organizing “Independence Day Celebration 2019 on 14th August” The Independence Day of India, is celebrated religiously throughout the Country on the 15th of August every year, and holds incredible ground in the list of national days, since it reminds every Indian about the sunrise of a new beginning of an era. India’s gaining of independence was a tryst with fortune, as the struggle for freedom was a long and tedious one, witnessing the sacrifices of many freedom fighters, who laid down their lives for the sake of nation. On 14th August SOE will celebrate Independence Day.

Objective of the event:

  • To fill the hearts of all with joy, honour and respect for the nation.
  • To appreciate the progress, India has made since Independence.
  • To relate to the struggle for independence and the ultimate success.
  • To recognize the problems Independent India Faced.
  • To evaluate the new Government priorities.

To strengthen the technical skills of the students, Department of CSE, School of Engineering & Technology (SET) has taken an initiative to train and prepare the student for GATE Examination on every Saturday’s(including non-working).

Through GATE students will get a chance in PSU’s as well as pursuing a higher degree from the renowned institution of India (IIT’s, NIT’s etc).

Apart from it the students who levy to work in product based companies, it will help them in their technical interviews.
