Management Development Programme (MDP) | SBS | December 2020 to  June 2021 @ PIPL office at Kolkata , West Bengal

MDP Cell of School of Business Studies, Sharda University, is organizing a Management Development Programme (MDP), spread over a duration of six months, in the area of ‘Coaching for Performance‘  for the organization named ‘Prestige Ice Cream Pvt. Limited’, Kolkata, West Bengal (Brand Rollick, Fragola, Vida). This MDP will be conducted during December 2020 to  June 2021 (Twice a month, 3 days at a time).

Key stakeholders of the organization are trained on the competencies and behavior underlined for performance. They in turn become coach of their subordinates. The organization is intended to promote an effective way of learning and improve managerial performance through this action and performance oriented Management Development Programme initiative.

School of Agricultural Sciences is organizing an International Conference Advances in Agricultural and Food Sciences to Face the Challenges to Environment and Biosecurity from 16th to 20th January 2021.

Objective of Event

  • To commemorate the establishment of a state-of-the-art School of Agricultural Sciences. The mission of the new school is to serve the needs of researchers, students, farmers, policy planners, and industries in the field of agriculture and food sciences including food processing
  • To look forward with strength and optimism to view how will globalization, information technology, new theoretical approaches, biotechnology, pharmacy, biosecurity, and interdisciplinary interactions shape agricultural and food science technologies in the future.
  • This conference will explore the availability of relatively new scientific developments across all disciplines that could accelerate progress toward these goals.

The Department of Electrical Electronics and Communication Engineering is planning to conduct a One-Week Faculty Development Programme on the Topic – “Wireless Sensor Networks and IoT” from 18th January 2021 to 22nd January 2021.

Objectives of Event:

This FDP is intended to provide the opportunity for faculty employed in affiliated engineering colleges for teaching and upgrading their knowledge in the area of Wireless Sensor Networks and above mention technologies. The programme is intended to give the participants a focused view on the role played by Wireless Sensor Networks. The pedagogy includes lectures, discussions and hands on practice. The FDP will provide the opportunities to ourish the knowledge and pursue research in this area. The one week FDP will enable the participants to
understand the simulation of various wireless communication, networks protocols, applications of the Internet of things, and their analyses.

Through GATE students will get a chance in PSU’s as well as pursuing a higher degree from the renowned institution of India (IIT’s, NIT’s etc).

Apart from it the students who levy to work in product based companies, it will help them in their technical interviews.

“3 rd Technovation Hackathon Smart City” from 20-27 January 2021.

On the occasion of the 30th Foundation day of the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA), Sharda University in collaboration with GNIDA is organizing a Virtual “3rd Technovation Hackathon Smart City” from 20th-27th January 2021.

The objective of the Event:

The hackathon aims to discover innovative ideas from young minds for problems of society. As we all know that India has the world’s youngest population, the youth are brimming with energy, have novel ideas, and are creative. Sharda University is presenting this initiative to engage the youth of the nation starting the morning of  January 20 to January 27, 2021, wherever you work, wherever you are in the world – feel free to offset the hours as you like – we invite you to join in the spirit of hackathon by building the idea you’ve been thinking about and put together a working version to show the world. This event is being organized as we feel that innovation is best demonstrated by bringing ideas to life, even if the first version may not be perfect. The students will be working on any one of the 5 event themes and will display their solutions. This will be followed by a prize distribution ceremony.

  2. Smart Safety, Security & Surveillance
  3. Smart Health and Hygiene
