To strengthen the technical skills of the students, Department of CSE, School of Engineering & Technology (SET) has taken an initiative to train and prepare the student for GATE Examination on every Saturday’s(including non-working).

Through GATE students will get a chance in PSU’s as well as pursuing a higher degree from the renowned institution of India (IIT’s, NIT’s etc).

Apart from it the students who levy to work in product based companies, it will help them in their technical interviews.

Ideation and Innovation e-camp (SDS) @ School of Dental Sciences, Sharda Univeristy

School of Dental Sciences, Sharda University in association with Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) with support from Sharda Launchpad is organizing an Ideation and Innovation e-camp for the students of SDS on 25th September, 2020 (Friday).

Objective(s) of the Event:

To identify students with innovative ideas under three levels:

  1. Idea Stage
  2. Prototype Stage
  3. Ready to Market stage

Rules/Information pertaining to the event:

  1. Entries are open from 10-Sep-2020 to 24-Sep-2020 EOD.
  2. Students are welcome to submit their entries in teams comprising of two to four members.
  3. Inter-disciplinary entries are allowed and students are encouraged collaborate with students of other schools.
  4. Students will have to present their ideas through an online presentation, which shall be limited to eight minutes and an additional time of two minutes will be for questions from the expert panel.

Benefits of Participation:

  1. Selected teams will be given the opportunity to present their ideas for Seed Fund and other support as per the Innovation and Startup Policy of the University, as well as mentored to present their ideas
  2. Selected teams will be mentored to participate in various Government/Corporate and other private funding schemes and build into startups.
  3. E-certificates for participation.

We don’t know what course the pandemic will take in the future but we do know that taking care of our hearts right now is more important than ever because cardiovascular disease is the number one cause of death on the planet.  Heart health for everyone is a fundamental human right and a crucial element of global health justice.

Department of Computer Science & Engineering is going to publish a souvenir named as “सातत्य“ to
commemorate “हिंदी दिवस”. The Constituent Assembly of India had espoused Hindi as India’s official
language on 14th September,1949. To show its significance and to celebrate its mark of
acknowledgement, we commemorate “Hindi Diwas” on September 14th every year. Hindi is one of the
two languages of the Union Government which is written in Devanagri script and other language is
English. It is one of the 22 languages of the Republic of India.

Objectives of the event:

  • To promote and encourage the use of Hindi Language.
  • To mark the importance of Hindi Language, one of the oldest languages.
  • To pay tribute to Beohar Rajendra Simha, Hazari Prasad Dwivedi, Kaka Kalelkar, Maithili
