School of Nursing Science & Research (SNSR) is organizing three (3) days ‘workshop on IMNCI’ | April 23, 2019.

About the program:-

IMNCI is Integrated Management of Neonatal and Childhood Illness, which focuses on the well being of the whole child of the age from 1 week to 2 months and 2 months to 5 years. It focuses primarily on the most common disease like diarrhoea, pneumonia, measles malaria and malnutrition. This workshop will enable the students to get hands-on training on IMNCI and develop their skill to care for sick children.

Objective of Event:

  • To throw light on evidence based syndrome approach for sick newborn and children according to IMNCI approach.
  • Nutritional assessment and counselling for sick children according to IMNCI approach.

Design Premier – Exhibition and Presentation of First Year studio work, aims to exhibit and encourage architecture students of First year.

Objective of Event:

The programme aims at exhibiting and encouraging the efforts of first year B. Arch students who worked on varied projects in their design studio.

The first year design studio aims to introduce students to the basics of three dimensional form and space and instill in the students an interest in form generation as a preliminary tool of spatial design. Students are exposed to different mediums and techniques of representation- sketches, drawings, model making. The extended studio aims at exposing students to different works of renowned architects and introducing them to the design processes. It guides students to formally understand and arrive at a design solution to a given problem through architectural methods of model making, drawings and design presentations.

Mathematics is essential for all disciplines such as basic sciences, technology, engineering and finance and so on. It also promotes the ability to think rationally, analyze and solve problems, and process data clearly and accurately. Our aim is to express Mathematics in an explicit manner which leads to real understanding of the subject and lead students for advanced level research.

Students will present own project work through poster presentation using Mathematical Applications and Modeling in various emerging areas of Science & Technology.

The field of nursing is rarely static being aware of the driving forces in any field helps individuals find a competitive edge in research, academics and their careers. Three current trends in nursing relate to technology, preventive care, and nursing education, all of which are interconnected and interdependent.

The nursing profession continues to evolve and progress at a meteoric pace. The current trends in nursing and care are multifactorial including the increase in the ageing population, a transition to informatics, and integration of evidence-based practice.
