On the occasion of the 30th Foundation day of the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA), Sharda University in collaboration with GNIDA is organizing a Virtual “3rd Technovation Hackathon Smart City” from 20th-27th January 2021.
The objective of the Event:
The hackathon aims to discover innovative ideas from young minds for problems of society. As we all know that India has the world’s youngest population, the youth are brimming with energy, have novel ideas, and are creative. Sharda University is presenting this initiative to engage the youth of the nation starting the morning of January 20 to January 27, 2021, wherever you work, wherever you are in the world – feel free to offset the hours as you like – we invite you to join in the spirit of hackathon by building the idea you’ve been thinking about and put together a working version to show the world. This event is being organized as we feel that innovation is best demonstrated by bringing ideas to life, even if the first version may not be perfect. The students will be working on any one of the 5 event themes and will display their solutions. This will be followed by a prize distribution ceremony.

India will celebrate its 72nd Republic Day on 26 January 2021, to mark the first revolution against the British regime. It is on this day, the India Constitution was adopted in 1950 after attaining the independence on 15 August 1947. In India, Republic Day is not less than a festival, the whole country regardless of caste, creed, religion beams with joy and happiness. The entire country is laced in tri-colours to convey that India is a nation where “Unity in Diversity” is celebrated.
To Salute the occasion, the Department of Mathematics Organizes Cultural Fest: “Be Patriotic”.
Objective:
- To create awareness students aware of their own fundamental rights and interpret it to the current situation and their willingness to keep its spirit alive which will make them patriotic.
- To give a sense of empowerment and motivate them to understand the importance of the constitution.

Inequality and the Culture of resistance are complementary to each other, as inequality creates the space for resistance. Foucault suggests that where there is power, there is resistance; power affirms that there exist resistance and vice versa (Foucault, 1978). This Conference thus springs from the necessity for theorizing and contextualizing resistance across local, regional, national, or transnational spaces. The “SPIC MACAY -Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music And Culture Amongst Youth” is a voluntary youth movement which promotes intangible aspects of Indian cultural heritage by promoting Indian classical music, classical dance, folk music, yoga, meditation, crafts, and other aspects of Indian culture.
The Performing art is a form of art in which artists use their voices and/or their bodies, often in relation to other objects, to express his/her opinion, emotion, feeling by means of performance such as theatre, music, and public speech. Performing arts may include dance, music, opera, theatre, and musical theatre, magic, illusion, mime, spoken word, puppetry, circus arts, performance art recitation, and public speaking. The theme of the workshop is developing learning strategies through performing arts. This workshop urges teachers and prospective teachers to use various kind of performing arts methodology to teach areas of the curriculum, social issues, and life themes.
Objectives of the Event:
The specific objectives of the workshop are:
- To introduce performing art and to provide the participants with an opportunity to develop their own art integrated pedagogy.
