ABOUT THE TOPIC:

Osteopathy takes a holistic, drug-free, whole-body approach to take the health of a person to its optimum level, by integrating the musculoskeletal, visceral (organs) system, and craniosacral (nervous system) together.

Osteopaths use a highly developed sense of touch called palpation to assess the problem, diagnose, and treat. Osteopathic manipulative techniques (OMT) helps in improving circulation and correct altered biomechanics to improve the function of the body and prevent further injury or illness.

Osteopathy strives to provide the optimum conditions for health by working with the body’s own healing mechanisms. An osteopathic physician does not concentrate only on the problem area but uses manual techniques to balance all the body systems and to provide overall good health and wellbeing.

 Dr. RichaDattaSrivastava is one of the pioneer Osteopaths of India. After graduating with an MBBS degree, her strong belief in the natural ways of treatment brought her interest in a revolutionary field of medicine known as Osteopathy. She had pursued Masters in Osteopathy from Sri University, Cuttack, Odisha in the year 2015-2017. She is the founder and director of Osteopathy Treat (www.osteopathytreat.com) under which she has served at different parts of North India namely Delhi, Gurgaon, Jaipur, Kota, Agra, Bhilwara, Karnal, Allahabad. She has also been associated with CK Birla Hospitals, Jaipur as a visiting consultant in the department of Osteopathy since 2017, She has successfully given treatments to many elite personalities, doctors, sportsmen, and people from different strata of society and age groups, from babies, teenagers, youths, and the elderly. Prelude to Aagmann – In recent years, Sharda University, School of Architecture and Planning (SAP) has emerged as one of the progressing institutions in architectural education in the region. In order to celebrate the new beginnings and align the new students towards the Architecture and Design industry and academia, the School is organizing its Online Orientation Program for three days. The students will be introduced to the department and its working spree during the three day event along with the interactions with Industry experts, Alumni’s and having hands-on experience workshop. Indian Handicrafts sector engages more than 7 million craftsperson from all over India and numerous categories of handicrafts, gifts and decorative items are produced in various forms of raw material. The Indian handicrafts have great potentiality of exports in International market. However, professional systems and expertise are required within crafts organisations to be able to connect to mainstream markets in a commercially sustainable manner. Often, craft groups located in rural areas lack such systems and are unable to develop as commercially viable enterprises even when the products they make have commercial potential.

Objectives of Event:

1. To acquire new skills that may help artisans produce better crafts or adjust to fast changing market demands.
2. Seeks to help artisans learn new skills and improve the ones they already have. They will be trained by experts from different domains.
3. To provide artisans with an understanding of market requirement to deal with the customers
