Preparation classes for CTET/UPTET

School of Education is organizing the preparation classes for its students who are appearing for competitive exams like CTET, UPTET, etc, mandatory to join the teaching profession. These classes will be for B.Ed(Sem.II & Sem.IV) and B.A.B.Ed (Sem.VI & VIII) during the month of MAY 2020.

Central Teachers Eligibility Test or CTET is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

The importance behind organizing the preparation classes for qualifying the CTET exam is that this exam is the first ladder students have to climb to join as teachers.

Objectives of Event:

  • To prepare the students to qualify the competitive exam of CTET/UPTET.
  • To prepare them to join the government and good public schools.
  • To help them have a deeper understanding of any competitive exam of a similar nature.
  • To develop in students the spirit of cracking a competitive exam.

Design competition – THE LOCKDOWN DESIGN CHALLENGE for SAP Students

School of Architecture and Planning and Department of Design have jointly taken up a great initiative to utilize the school’s design potentials and seeks to see this lockdown as an opportunity and hope. The departments have initiated a design competition – THE LOCKDOWN DESIGN CHALLENGE, Design from your home for your home.

Objectives of Event: 


Covid -19 has indefinitely got us locked up in our homes and has been challenging and has been very different for each one of us. Though it’s a big pause, yet it’s an opportunity for designers to observe their immediate surroundings in a way we have never done before and come up with innovative design solutions to make their homes more comfortable. All the outstanding designs, as finalized by the jury shall be incubated to be realized as a prototype and further have the designs registered through SHARDA UNIVERSITY with THE PATENT OFFICE, Government of India.

School of Education (SOE), Sharda University is organizing ‘Online Parent – Teacher Meeting (PTM)’ from 23rd May to 30th May 2020.

Parents of SOE students are cordially invited to attend the PTM to discuss with the teachers the attendance, their performance in the mid terms, and their overall conduct/performance in the campus and during the online classes.

Judges from the Supreme Court of India, Various High Courts, 40 Legal Luminaries, 100 student’s participants from leading Law Universities/Colleges from all over India are invited to be a part of this endeavor to make it a successful event.

Event Objective:

Cultural Activity Club, SBS is organizing a cultural event on “Talent knockout in Lockdown” | 28th May 2020

Cultural Activity Club, School of Business Studies, Sharda University is organizing a cultural event on “Talent knockout in Lockdown” for the students, till Thursday, 28th May 2020.

Due to the lockdown, students are unable to take part in any cultural activity. This event will encourage students to prepare a performance showcasing their talent in the lockdown.  Students will have to submit 1minute long video of them performing any type of talent like singing, dancing, painting or photography. This will give students exposure and motivate them to indulge in some kind of cultural event right from their home. This will be a one of a kind event that has never happened before at Sharda University.
The current situation has caused the students to be confined at homes, raising the anxiety levels. The Cultural Activity Club plans to give students a platform to showcase their talent online at this time, hoping that showcasing talent or art would help reduce their anxiety levels.
Our plan is to enable students to take part in our event so that there is a way to come out of this stressful situation.

The objectives of the event are:

  • To engage students in a cultural event
  • To try and reduce their anxiety levels
  • To help them adapt to the new situation
  • To keep students spirits and strength high
