Special Lecture on Women Safety @ AUDITORIUM 014, BLOCK 3
Nov 15 @ 3:00 pm – 3:45 pm

Women safety in India is a big concern. Safety of women matters a lot whether at home, outside the home or working place. Last few crimes against women especially rape cases were very fearful. Because of such crimes, women safety in India has become a debatable topic.

Some of the most common crimes against women are rape, dowry deaths, sexual harassment at home or workplace, kidnapping and abduction, cruelty by husband, relatives, assault on a woman, and sex trafficking. There is an urgent need to understand and solve this problem of women safety so that they can also grow equally like men in their own country.

We understand the sensitivity and the need of the women safety issue. Therefore SOE is organising a special talk and interaction with the SSP, NOIDA, Gautam Budh Nagar.

Objectives of Event:

  • To promote gender perspectives on women safety, policy and practice.
  • To work with organizations in the community, voluntary, academic and statutory sectors to engage with the community on women safety issues.
  • To involve women as active participants in the change process.
