Department of Computer Science & Engineering is going to publish a souvenir named as “सातत्य“ to
commemorate “हिंदी दिवस”. The Constituent Assembly of India had espoused Hindi as India’s official
language on 14th September,1949. To show its significance and to celebrate its mark of
acknowledgement, we commemorate “Hindi Diwas” on September 14th every year. Hindi is one of the
two languages of the Union Government which is written in Devanagri script and other language is
English. It is one of the 22 languages of the Republic of India.

Objectives of the event:

  • To promote and encourage the use of Hindi Language.
  • To mark the importance of Hindi Language, one of the oldest languages.
  • To pay tribute to Beohar Rajendra Simha, Hazari Prasad Dwivedi, Kaka Kalelkar, Maithili

Sharan Gupt and Seth Govind Das for their tireless contributions.

Department of Civil Engineering, School of Engineering and technology SET is planning to organize a webinar on  “Constitutional Obligations: Values, Rights, Duties, and Responsibilities of Citizens” on 3rd October 2020.

Objectives of Event:

  1. To sensitize students and employees of the Institution to the constitutional obligations: Fundamental values, rights, duties, and responsibilities of citizens
  2.  Understand the Fundamental Duties, that are defined as the moral obligations of all citizens to help promote a spirit of patriotism and to uphold the unity of India.
  3. The idea of citizenship has acquired a new meaning, content, and purpose in the democratic world. While emphasizing rights, it very important that one is also sincere about his or her duties towards the society at large and the country, especially its safety and security imperatives.

IEEE Day 2020 marks the 11th annual IEEE Day with the theme “Leveraging Technology for a Better Tomorrow,” The main objective of the event is to make the Faculty and students shine in their communication skills and out of box thinking. The major task of the IEEE Day team is to initiate, motivate, and coordinate events and efforts to celebrate this day.

This event comprised of many sections like involving fun and research sensitization too. The IEEE Future Directions also facilitates the development of new technology in Blockchain, Digital reality, Future networks, Quantum, Rebooting Computing, and Brain Initiatives.

About Event:
