One-day Interactive workshop “MOOC: WHAT WHY AND HOW” on 30th March 2019 @ Block 3, Room No. 107-A
Mar 30 @ 9:30 am – 4:00 pm

As you all know MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) hosted on SWAYAM (Study Webs of Active–Learning for Young Aspiring Minds) platform (SWAYAM.gov.in) provides enormous potential and opportunity for faculty, academic administrators in introducing MOOCs within CBCS for optimization and enhancement of resources meant for teaching, learning, infrastructure etc. MOOCs allow flexibility to register elective and basic courses and reduction of the workload of the teaching community. Overall, MOOCs have been designed to help the University to serve its students better. Course delivery offered under MOOC mode within SU could revolutionize the teaching and learning process.
To make faculty and academic administrators familiarize with MOOCs RTDC is taking an initiative to organize a 3 h One-day Interactive workshop on 30-03-2019 (Saturday). Professors B. S. Balaji (School of Biotechnology, JNU) and Dr. Sanjiv Kumar (School of Basic Sciences, IGNOU) both of whom have been giving MOOCs on SWAYAM platform have kindly consented to give the talks and interact with the participants.
