School of Architecture and Planning (SAP) is organizing a lecture on Light-In spiritual spaces (Church & Seminary) for the IV semester students of B.Arch.
This lecture will help the students in their current semester Design studio.
Objective:
The idea of How Light can transform a space will be discussed in the lecture. The design studio for IV semester explores to develop forms (church & seminary) that sculpt light which can thereby invoke spirituality in the minds of people. The use of light can lead to very diverse feelings in a space. The students are experimenting with this through models of light boxes showcasing behavior of light to further develop a form. The lecture will primarily focus on discussing simple and practical ways to bring light in a space. Also, how light can be used to create drama, aesthetics, magnificence will be explored through hands on models.
