Overview
Sharda School of Law, Sharda University, is organizing a Guest Lecture on “Contours of Criminal Justice: Law, Liberty and Litigation” for the second-year students of B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) on 27th July 2026. The session will be delivered by Adv. Rounak Sinha, Advocate, Supreme Court of India, who will share practical insights into criminal litigation, courtroom procedures, client advocacy, legal ethics, and the realities of legal practice. The lecture aims to bridge the gap between classroom learning and professional practice by equipping students with practical knowledge, strengthening analytical and advocacy skills, and enhancing their litigation readiness and employability.
Objectives of Event
1. To familiarize students with the practical dimensions of criminal litigation and courtroom procedures.
2. To enhance students' understanding of legal ethics, client advocacy, and professional responsibilities.
3. To bridge the gap between theoretical legal education and real-world criminal justice practice.
4. To strengthen students' analytical, advocacy, and employability skills for future legal careers.
