The Expert Lecture on Law School Research Project Writing will be held on 30th July, 2026.
The session will focus on:
- Understanding the fundamentals of legal research and project writing
- Selection and formulation of research topics and research problems
- Framing research objectives, research questions and hypotheses
- Doctrinal and non-doctrinal research methodology
- Citation methods, referencing techniques and avoidance of plagiarism
- Structuring a law school research project, dissertation or term paper
- Academic writing skills, editing and presentation of legal research
Through expert guidance, the lecture bridges classroom learning with the practical requirements of legal research and academic writing. Participants will develop the skills necessary to undertake systematic legal research, write well-structured research projects and maintain academic integrity. This session is aimed at preparing law students to conduct quality research and present their ideas with clarity, precision and professionalism.
