Overview
The Juvenile Justice Wing of the Pro Bono Club, Legal Aid Society, Sharda School of Law, Sharda University, is organising the 8th Psychological Counselling Session followed by ‘AZADI UTSAV’ for the juveniles residing at the (Government) Child Care Institution (for girls), Gautam Buddha Nagar. The celebration shall include apprising the delinquents of the ethos of independence and instilling in them a sense of national pride, unity, and civic responsibility.
Objectives of Event
· To promote emotional well-being, self-confidence, resilience, and positive mental health among juveniles through a structured psychological counselling session conducted by a qualified expert.
· To celebrate the spirit of independence through an ‘Azadi Utsav’ featuring patriotic games, competitions, and interactive group activities that foster nationalism, values, and responsible citizenship.
· To strengthen collaboration between the Schools’sLegal Aid Society and the Child Care Institution in promoting the welfare and rehabilitation of these delinquents.
· To inculcate empathy, social responsibility, and practical understanding of the juvenile justice system amongst law students.
