Overview
The event “Beyond Machines: Mechanical Engineering, AI, Sustainability and Smart Manufacturing” focuses on the transformation of traditional mechanical engineering through Artificial Intelligence (AI), sustainable technologies, automation, and smart manufacturing. The event highlights how AI, IoT, robotics, digital twins, data analytics, additive manufacturing, and advanced materials can be integrated with mechanical engineering to develop intelligent, efficient, and environmentally sustainable manufacturing systems.
Objectives of Event
- To introduce students and faculty to the role of AI in modern mechanical engineering and manufacturing.
- To understand the concepts of Industry 4.0, smart manufacturing, automation, IoT, and digital twins.
- To explore AI-based design, predictive maintenance, process optimization, and intelligent quality control.
- To promote sustainable manufacturing through energy efficiency, waste reduction, recycling, and advanced materials.
- To demonstrate how mechanical engineers can integrate AI, robotics, additive manufacturing, and data-driven technologies into real-world applications.
- To encourage students to develop innovative solutions for smart, sustainable, and future-ready manufacturing industrie
