Sharda School of Allied Health Sciences, Sharda University, is organizing “World Heart Day 2026 – Health & Awareness Activities” on 29 September 2026.
About the Event
World Heart Day is observed every year on 29th September with the aim of raising awareness about cardiovascular health, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications to reduce the global burden of heart diseases. In alignment with this initiative, the School of Allied Health Sciences is organizing Health Awareness Activities on the occasion of World Heart Day 2026.
Planned Activities
1. Inaugural Session & Awareness Talk – Keynote on the importance of cardiovascular health.
2. Interactive Session – Lifestyle modifications, diet counseling, and stress management.
3. Poster & Slogan Competition – For students and participants to enhance knowledge.
4. Heart Health Awareness Model Competition - For students and participants to enhance knowledge.
Objectives of Event
1. To spread awareness about cardiovascular diseases and their prevention.
2. To encourage early detection through basic health screenings.
3. To promote a heart-healthy lifestyle among students, faculty, and the community.
4. To engage participants in interactive and educational activities focused on heart health.
