Overview
The HPLC training session is designed to enhance skill of M. Pharm and Ph.D. students’ understanding of one of the most important analytical techniques used in pharmaceutical sciences. The programme will cover the basic principles of HPLC, its major components, working mechanisms, and practical applications in pharmaceutical analysis. Participants will gain insights into instrument operation, sample injection, chromatographic separation, and chromatogram interpretation. The session will also highlight the importance of HPLC in drug identification, purity assessment, quality control, and analytical method development. This training programme aims to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical skills, thereby preparing students for academic research and future professional opportunities in the pharmaceutical industry.
Objectives of Event
1. To understand the basic principles and working mechanism of High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC).
2. To familiarize students with the major components and instrumentation of an HPLC system.
3. To develop practical skills in HPLC instrument operation and sample preparation.
4. To understand chromatographic separation and interpretation of chromatograms.
5. To bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical applications in pharmaceutical research and industry.
