Overview

Sharda School of Law, Sharda University, is organising a special guest lecture on “Launching Your Legal Career: Practice, Innovation and Entrepreneurship” by Samar Singh Kachwaha, Advocate, SSK Law Chambers. The session is scheduled for Wednesday, 23 September 2026, from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM, and is primarily intended for fourth- and fifth-year law students.

The lecture will provide students with practical insights into launching and building a successful legal career. It will introduce them to the opportunities and challenges involved in establishing an independent legal practice, developing professional credibility, building client relationships and adopting an entrepreneurial approach to the practice of law. The session will also highlight the growing role of innovation and technology in shaping modern legal services.

Objectives of Event

  • To introduce students to the concept of legal entrepreneurship and its growing relevance in the legal profession.
  • To familiarise students with the opportunities and challenges involved in establishing an independent legal practice or legal venture.
  • To help students understand the importance of professional networking, client development and personal branding.
  • To provide insights into the role of innovation and technology in building modern legal services.
  • To encourage students to explore entrepreneurial opportunities within the legal profession.
