Overview
The Visual Art, Music, Reel and Rhythm Club of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Sharda University, is organizing a Mehndi Competition on 28 October 2026 at 2:00 PM onwards in Room No. 109, Block 1, on the occasion of Karwa Chauth. The event aims to celebrate Indian culture and traditions by providing participants with a platform to showcase their creativity, artistic skills, and talent in mehndi design. Participants will get an opportunity to express their imagination through traditional and contemporary mehndi patterns while enjoying the festive spirit of Karwa Chauth.
Objectives of Event
- To celebrate Indian traditions and cultural heritage associated with Karwa Chauth.
- To provide a platform for participants to showcase their artistic abilities and innovative mehndi designs.
- To enhance creativity, precision, patience, and attention to detail through mehndi art.
- To motivate students to actively participate in extracurricular and cultural activities.
