Overview

Department of Community Medicine, Sharda School of Medical Sciences and Research, Sharda Hospital, Sharda University is organizing "School Health Camps" at R.S. Public School, Gejha, Greater Noida, on Tuesday, 06 October 2026, and Prathamik Vidyalaya, Jamalpur, on Wednesday, 28 October 2026, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

The camps will be conducted at the respective school premises in coordination with the Urban Health Training Centre (UHTC) and Rural Health Training Centre (RHTC) of the Department of Community Medicine. The primary objective of these health camps is to screen school-going children for common morbidities and provide them with age-appropriate information and guidance on health, hygiene, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle practices. This initiative aims to promote early identification of common health concerns, enhance health awareness, and contribute to the overall health, well-being, and holistic development of school children

Objectives of Event

  • To provide screening, referral, and treatment for various ailments to School Students.
  • To create awareness regarding communicable and non-communicable diseases and improve their health-seeking behaviour.
