About the Event:

 The Department of Physiotherapy celebrates “Illuminating Unity: A Diwali Celebration Promoting Constitutional Values, Inclusivity, and Social Harmony” to sensitise students and faculty members towards the importance of constitutional values, including equality, liberty, fraternity, mutual respect, and communal harmony. The celebration provides an opportunity to promote respect for diverse cultural and religious traditions while reinforcing the values of unity, dignity, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence. The event encourages individuals to uphold their constitutional duties and responsibilities as responsible citizens, thereby contributing to an inclusive and harmonious society. This initiative aligns with NAAC Criterion 7, Metric 7.1.11, focusing on sensitization of students and employees to constitutional obligations.

Objectives of Event

  • To sensitise students and faculty members towards constitutional values and their significance in everyday life.
  •  To promote the principles of equality, liberty, fraternity, and mutual respect.
  •  To encourage respect for cultural, religious, and regional diversity.
  •  To foster a sense of unity, tolerance, inclusivity, and communal harmony.
  •  To create awareness regarding fundamental rights, duties, and responsibilities of citizens.
  •  To inculcate values of dignity, social responsibility, peaceful coexistence, and respect for the Indian Constitution.
