Overview
School of Dental Sciences, Sharda University is organizing a guest lecture
and one day workshop on management of curved canals. Curved canals
present unique challenges in endodontic therapy, requiring a blend of
knowledge, precision, and advanced techniques to achieve successful
outcomes. Modern instrumentation, irrigation protocols, and obturation
strategies have significantly improved the predictability and long-term
success of root canal treatments in curved canals.
This masterclass aims to provide participants with an in-depth understanding
of the principles and techniques essential for safe negotiation, shaping,
cleaning, and obturation of curved canals

Objectives of Event
• To understand the anatomy and complexities of curved canals.
• To gain knowledge of various file systems and their application in curved
canals.
• To learn strategies for glide path creation, canal shaping, and debris
management.
• To explore obturation techniques for three-dimensional sealing in curved canals.
• To improve clinical outcomes and reduce procedural errors or mishaps.

Chief Guest Details:
Dr. Anil Dhingra is a Dental Academician and Endodontist with over
25 years of experience in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics,
teaching, postgraduate education, clinical practice, research, and
academic administration. He is the first fellow of Indian Endodontic
Society India. He is at present Professor & Head at D.J. College of
Dental Sciences and Research, Modinagar, UP, and has extensive
experience in postgraduate training and academic leadership.
He has published 160 research articles, 10 e-books, and contributed
to 2 textbooks, and has served as an editor/reviewer for several
national and international dental journals. He is a Fellow of the
International College of Dentists (FICD) and Academy of General
Education (FAGE), and has received several honours, including
Outstanding Endodontist of the Year (North) & Dental Researcher
of the Year Germany.
