Overview

Oral health is an integral component of overall health and well-being. Good oral hygiene practices established during the school and college years play a vital role in preventing dental caries, gum diseases, bad breath, and other oral health problems. To promote healthy oral hygiene practices and encourage students to adopt preventive dental care, a Dental Health Check-up and Oral Health Awareness Camp is being conducted by the School of Dental Sciences, Sharda University at MCPS Pratap Nagar, Delhi on 10th September 2026 .

The camp will provide an opportunity for early identification of common dental problems and will simultaneously create awareness regarding the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene.

Objectives of Event

·       To conduct basic oral and dental health screening of students.

·       To educate students about the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene.

·       To demonstrate the correct tooth-brushing technique and emphasize the importance of brushing twice daily.

·       To create awareness regarding the appropriate use of toothbrush, toothpaste, dental floss/interdental cleaning aids, and other oral hygiene measures.

·       To educate students about the role of healthy dietary habits in maintaining good oral and general health.

·       To emphasize the importance of regular dental check-ups and timely professional treatment.
